Tribute: He Touched Many Lives Through Developmental Progs, His Achievements Speak Volume, Always – Oloye Adelabu Celebrates Gov Ajimobi’s Posthumous Birthday At 72, Hails Dr Florence Ajimobi for Sustaining Late Patriarch’s Legacies.

Former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN), Chief Adebayo Adelabu has described Senator Abiola Ajimobi, former governor of Oyo State as helmsman who has made significant impact in lives of people of the state, through his various developmental programmes.

Chief Adelabu made this known in his message issued to celebrate 72nd posthumous birthday of Senator Abiola Ajimobi through one of his Media Aides, Comrade Femi Awogboro.

According to Chief Adelabu, legacies of Senator Abiola Ajimobi speak volume, always, even after his death.

“Two years after our political leader and mentor left office, the people of Oyo State have missed his leadership qualities that were aimed at putting the State into its pace setting status through people oriented programmes”, Adelabu said.

The 2019 APC Governorship Candidate stressed that Senator Abiola Ajimobi has laid a very strong foundation for other administrations coming behind him to build on, for the advancement of the State.

Chief Adelabu also commended Chief(Dr) Florence Ajimobi for sustaining the legacy of the patriarch, whom he described as the “Father of the new Oyo State”. He further congratulated the Senator Abiola Ajimobi Foundation(SAAF) and the Institute of Peace and Strategic Studies of the University of Ibadan on the commissioning of the Senator Abiola Ajimobi’s Center at the Institute.

Adelabu described the project as a major feat by the family’s matriarch and the SAAF at immortalising the former governor and leader of APC in Oyo state. He prayed that God will continue to be with late Ajimobi’s children, family and grant the deceased eternal rest, in Al-Janat Firdaus.
