Member, House of Representatives,MHR, Hopeful, from Ibarapa Central and North Federal Constituency, Honourable Aliu Kewulere Mukaram has expressed his condolence message to the people of Ogbomoso land, Ìbàràpá land, Oyo State and Nigeria at large over the demise of erstwhile Governor of Oyo State, Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala.
The foremost Chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC), Otunba Akala passed on early hours of Wednesday at 71.
Kewulere, in his condolence message, described Alao-Akala as a grassroot politician whose generosity had earned him, “the Generous(Oyato)”.
Kewulere said this in a statement signed by himself and made available to this Newspaper, Africano Trumpeters by his media office, early hours of Thursday.
In the condolence message, Mukaram lamented that the death of the Ogbomoso-born politician came as a rude shock, while describing it as a big loss to APC.
Kewulere added that the role of Alao-Akala both in the development of Ìbàràpá and the reconciliation process within the progressive family will be greatly be missed.
“I commiserate with Otunba Alao-Akala’s immediate family, people of Ogbomoso, Ìbàràpá, Oyo state in general, APC and Nigerians. May his soul rest in peace”. Kewulere prayed.
