TRIBUTE: NCC Chair, Prof Akande Consoles family of Late Ogunmola.
The Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission(NCC), Professor Adeolu Akande has commiserated with Ogunmola family and entire people of Atisbo Local Government of Oyo State on the death of the candidate of Accord Party for the House of Representatives, in the Saki West/Saki East/Atisbo Federal Constituency, Honourable Jacob Funmi Ogunmola.
Professor Akande stated that it was one death two many coming eight months after the death of Ogunmola’s successor in office as Chairman of Atisbo Local Government, Hon Wasiu Akogun.
Prof Akande described Ogunmola as a politician who combined community service and philanthropy with politics.
“Ogunmola created a niche for himself as a politician driven by commitment to public service and philanthropy. He stood out as a politician who on a permanently basis catered for the needs of his people.
He left a vacuum that would be difficult to fill. My prayer is that God will be with his young family and his teeming supporters. May God grant him eternal rest”,he prayed.
