TRIBUTE: Oba Adekunle’s Death Is A Collosal Loss To Iseyin Land, Oyo State – Sen Buhari Mourns.
The death of Aseyin of Iseyin, Oba (Dr) Abdulganiy Adekunle Salaudeen Ologunebi (Ajinese 1) has been described as a colossal loss to Iseyin, Oyo State and Nigeria in general.
The Senator representing Oyo North, Dr. Buhari Abdulfatai gave this description in a condolence message to the family of Oba Adekunle and good people of Iseyin over the demise of the paramount ruler of Iseyin land, which occured today.
The lawmaker said,“The death of Kabiesi Aseyin was a very torching and painful experience due to his uncommon traits in community development and nation-building”.
According to him, the 15 years reigns of the prominent Yoruba Oba, Kabiesi Adekunle did not only witness development of Iseyin town but the entire Oke-Ogun.
“He was an Oba who loved his subjects and brought development to the ancient town, His wisdom and guidance for unique manner at which he uphold unity of Iseyin, Oke-Ogun and Oyo State will be missed”, Senator Buhari hinted.
“Kabiesi Adekunle died as an achiever and he will surely be remembered for the unforgettable roles towards the building of not only his subjects but the generality of humanity across the world,”
The Legislator who is currently out of the country on official assignment condoled with the immediate family of Oba Adekunle; the wives, children and siblings as well as the entire people of Iseyin also prayed onto God to give them fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
Sen. Buhari prayed for the soul of Oba Adeyemi to rest in peace and that God shall forgive all his shortcomings grant onto him Aljannat Firdaous on the day of accountability.
