He was almly and intelligently ready for responses at all times. He has always wished to ascend to the throne of Olubadan and God answered the prayer when he became the 41st Olubadan, knowing how rigorous the process of ascending the throne of Olubadan, which mostly throws up aged monarch in Ibadan.
In my birthday message to late Olubadan, I said Olubadan like Soun in term of their love to people, and development, enterprises and character. Unknown to me they both share destiny to pass on within few days, after each other. It was a life well spent for both great monarchs of our time. May Almighty Allah grant both of them Aljanat Firdaus and give the family, the people of Ibadan and Oyo state in general fortitude to bear the lost.
