Tribute: Oyo APC Pay Condolence Visit To former Gov Alao-Akala’s Family.

Recovering from the shock of the devastation which the sudden death of former Governor of Oyo State, Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala has thrown her aid into, the expanded State Executives of All Progressives Congress (APC), comprising the State Executives and representatives of Local Government Chairmen of the Party have on Monday, January 24, visited ‘OPADOYIN VILLA, RANDA, OGBOMOSO’, the home of the late Governor Akala to commiserate with the bereaved family.

   Leading Dozens of the Party Executives of Oyo APC, Prince Adefioye Adekanye, the State Caretaker Vice Chairman and Oyo South Senatorial Caretaker Chairman eulogized the unique and unparalleled qualities of the late helmsman. Adekanye lauded Akala's unusual human capacity building and impactful development.

Prince Adekanye lamented the vacuum which former Gov. Akala’s death has brought on the Party, when APC was already thinking of him leading the Campaign for 2023 General Election in Oyo State.

  Prince Adekanye prayed for the repose of the late Gov. Alao-Akala and God's unstoppable mercy on the ALAO Akala's family in the post Gov Akala's era, in the family.


 Responding on behalf of the ALAO AKALA Family, the Matriarch of the family, Mrs Akala and the former Chairman of Ogbomoso North LG, Hon Olamijuwon Alao Akala, respectively thanked the APC State Executives for coming. 


   The Party thereafter signed the Condolence Register.


  Those on entourage were Prince Adefioye Adekanye, Dr Abdul-Azeez Olatunde, Hon Mudasiru Aje igbe-former Oyo West LG Chairman(1999-2002), coincidentally a Chairman colleague of Gov Akala, when Gov Akala was the Chairman of Ogbomoso North LG between 1999-2002, Prince Ayobami Adejumo, Hon Kamaldeen Nangeri, Hon Ayuba Lukuman(Oriire APC Party Chairman), Hon Olagunju Joel (Ogo Oluwa APC Chairman), Hon Akanni Oyebode (Surulere APC Chairman), Hon Salau Abisoye(Ogbomoso South APC Chairman) and others.

   The visiting Executives at the OPADOYIN VILLA, RANDA, Ogbomoso home of former Governor Akala's were received by the scores of APC members led by the Chairman of APC in Ogbomoso North, Hon Bukola Badmus and Hon Oloyede
