TRIBUTE: Oyo PCC Commissioner, Asiwaju Folawiyo Mourns Olubadan, Oba Olalekan Balogun

The Federal Commissioner of the Public Complaints Commission (PCC) in Oyo State, Asiwaju Folawiyo Bello, has paid tribute to His Imperial Majesty, Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun CFR (Alli Okunmade II).

In a statement released by him, Asiwaju Folawiyo, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), expressed shock at the sudden transition of the revered monarch.

Asiwaju Folawiyo lauded Kabiesi’s reign, which he described as peaceful and developmental for Oyo State in general and Ibadanland in particular.

“I am deeply shocked and saddened by the passing on of the Royal Father, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun (Alli Okunmade II).

The influential politician, Folawiyo, said,”Our late revered monarch was a father to all; he was well versed in the culture and tradition of Ibadanland. He used his education, administrative acumen, political intellect, and wealth of experience during the time of his reign to advance Ibadan Land and its environs.

“Kabiyesi’s ideas were courageous and progressive. He would be thoroughly missed, but his legacies would continue to shine. I want to commiserate with all sons and daughters of Ibadanland and friends of the city on this deep and painful loss. Adieu to the legendary emperor of the city of warriors!” He submitted.
