TRIBUTE: Public Affairs Analyst, Mrs Titilope Fowowe Remembers Late Dad.
On this day in the year 2002, I will never forget in my life, I lost a major part of me. My beloved father and mentor who taught me the value of honesty and standing boldly without compromising for truth. It was like a dream I don’t think I will recover from forever. It has been full 20 years he returned back home like a flash after a day of evangelism and was preparing for prison evangelism. I am yet to see a man of God like my father Jacob Owolabi.Heaven gained what we lost. A man of faith. A bold and fearless preacher of the word who was blunt and brutal with the truth. The tears never stopped flowing till date but I rejoice forever in the lord. I miss him so much beyond what words can describe. He made me to see that we also have worthy Abiyamo who are men. My school fees for the entire session was always paid once by him. Wish he lived longer but God understands why he left at 62.
