REST ON, SEN ABIOLA AJIMOBI!!

Sunday, June 25, 2020 will forever remain a day of reckoning that the sunny day turned gloomy as the announcement of  sudden death of my leader and father, the former Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi  filtered.

That was the day darkness fell on the entire Oyo State and the entire Nigeria when we learnt about the painful departure of our esteemed leader and father. The entire Oyo State, and Nigeria, was gripped by grief, groan and profuse weeping from old and young, with condolences about the irreparable loss of the falling hero.

On that sudden day that thunder struck and the whole Oyo State and Nigeria became suddenly ravaged, the sky immediately worn the pigment of black, when the news broke that the political gladiator and the Acting Nation’s Chairman of the ruling party APC has breathed his last. Elders and Toddlers irrespective of social status and class wept uncontrollably because our most illustrious Son was violently snatched by death without any trace.

However, the legacies and indelible footprints of the Former Governor remained conspicuous, and his giant strides while alive continue to speak volumes after him.

Word cannot describe how I am feeling, remembering you today. Your Excellency, you left us when we need you most. Some truth in life are hard to accept. Your memories will never be forgotten!

He was indeed a man of many angles. May Allah forgive his sins and grant him eternal rest.

May GOD continue to rest your soul in paradise, Amen. Late Senator Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi, may your soul continue to rest in the bosom of the Almighty God till we meet to part no more.
