Akanji, beyond party lines, you were a hero and your loss is still deeply felt as though it were yesterday.
One year on and it is only fitting that we celebrate the man who willingly offered his toil, sweat, and blood and paid the ultimate price in the service of his state, country and his people: the architect of the modern Oyo State.
