Tribute: Sen Soji Akanbi Mourns Late Gov Akala, Commiserates With Ogbomoso Land, Oyo State.
Mogaji Isagunna and Okanlomo of Ibadan land, Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi has commiserated with Alao-Akala’s family over the demise of their Patriarch and former Governor of Oyo-State, Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala, who died today.
The immediate past Senator of Oyo South, Akanbi also sympathised with the good people of Ogbomosoland and Oyo-State in general.
The Deputy National Chairman of SWAGA’23, Akanbi described the Akala as a forward looking helmsman whose contributions and impacts, in Oyo-State, cannot be forgotten for years to come.
“It came to me as a rude shock that His Excellency, Otunba Alao-Akala is dead. I commiserate with late Otunba Alao-Akala’s family, Ogbomoso land and entire good people of Oyo-State. May God grant us all fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and repose his soul in paradise”, Akanbi prayed.
