Tribute: Tinubu’s Delegates Pay Condolence Visit to Late Olubadan’s Family, Set to Attend Oba Adetunji’s “8 Day Fidau Prayer” Today.
Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi, former Senator of Oyo South District and a front line ally of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has yesterday ushered in the delegates, sent by the former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Tinubu to the late Olubadan’s palace at Popoyemoja, in Ibadan, to commiserate with the family of the late Royal Father, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji who joined his ancestors recently.
The delegates were led by Prince Oluwa and other members of the delegation are Sen Ganiyu Solomon and Alhaji Mutiu Are.
While giving condolence speech on behalf of Asiwaju Tinubu, Prince Oluwa extolled the virtues of the late first class king, Oba Adetunji and stated that,”On behalf of our Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I commiserate with you over the transition of our highly respected father and late Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji Ajeogunguniso-I. I pray that may Almighty God repose the soul of Oba Adetunji in Al-Janat Firdaus and grant you all the bereaved fortitude to bear the irreparable loss”, he prayed.
Africano Trumpeters Newspaper can authoritatively report that Tinubu’s delegates, led by Prince Oluwa, are still in town to pay last tribute to late Oba Adetunji during His Imperial Majesty’s 8 Day Fidau prayer taking place by 10am today, Sunday at Mapo Hall, in Ibadan.
