Tribute: TLF Mourns Olubadan, Describes Late Oba Adetunji As Altruistic Monarch.
Tinubu Legacy Forum(TLF), a from line sociopolitical organization, locally and globally rooting for the presidential ambition of their Principal and former Lagos state Governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has commiserated with Ibadan Council of Chiefs, Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes, CCII, family of the late monarch, the great people of Ibadanland and Oyo state, in general over the demise of Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, Ajeogunguniso I, who joined his forebears, early today, in Ibadan.
The Forum’s Board of Trustees, (BoT, Chairman, Alhaji Ganiyu Akeem Adesina while reacting to the demise of the late Royal father, condoled with the Oyo state Government under the leadership of Engineer Seyi Makinde over the demise of Oba Adetunji.
The Chairman, Alhaji Ganiyu also commiserated with the late Kabiesi’s family and enjoined them “to learn from the virtue and proactiveness of our father who had led a fulfilled life by contributing immensely to Ibadan advancements, Oyo-State progress, Yoruba heritage and national developments.
Ganiyu described Oba Adetunji as “an altruistic and pragmatic royal father who was known for sincerity and fearlessness.” May God give us all, fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss and grant his soul an eternal rest, in Al-Janat Firdaus.
