Tribute to Mr ATM !! Amb Ademola Oyepeju “Ara” Lauds Late Gov Alao-Akala.
“Tribute to Mr ATM: The ARA FOUNDATION’s President and the Oyo State House of Assembly (OYHA) Hopeful from Oluyole state constituency, Ambassador Ademola Oyepeju Ara has joined the good people of Oyo state and Nigeria at large to express his shock and present his condolence statement while chatting with journalists, yesterday, in his Ibadan residence.
Ara stated as follows:
You will forever be remembered 💙.
Two men known as the Colossi of Oyo politics and Nigeria at large, missed within 2 years interval and both died around the age of 71 years old.
They were both elected governors and records breakers in the history of Nigerian politics and to be precised, in Oyo state Koseleri political systems.
One came from Ibadan and had a colossal love for his Ibadan and, respectively, the other one came from Ogbomoso and had a very huge love for his home town as well. The first one is a Muslim by faith while the other one is a Christian.
More so, both of them represented letter “A” repeatedly in their names.
There is no how we can write the history of the first one without the reflection of the second or vice versa.
One is H.E Ex Governor Isihaq Abiola Akanji Ajimobi and the second one is H.E Ex Governor Christopher Adebayo Alao Akala both of the blessed memory.
Akala gained access to the government House as the state Governor, on 12/1/2006 and died on 12/1/20’22. Exactly 16years.
They were both my political parents. My leaders and my mentors. I love them both and I lost them both within two years, when I needed them mostly.
I love them but God loves them most. I will miss them both personally but I won’t relent to continue with the struggle and the legacy they both left behind.

Seyi Makinde and the Nigeria at large. Please, accept my condolences. May God almighty grant us all the fortitude to bear this great loss.
