Tribute: Truly, Otunba Is A Distinct “Oyato” Politician – Femi Durodola Mourns Late Gov Alao-Akala.
Former Aide to the immediate past Governor of Oyo-State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, Honourable Femi Durodola has commiserated with Akala’s family, Ogbomosho land and Oyo State government over the passage of the former governor of the State, Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala.
Durodola lamented death of the former governor and described it as painful and sad.
In his tribute, the Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC), from Itesiwaju Local Government Area of the state, Hon. Durodola showered encomia on the late governor and stated that,”Truly, Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala is a distinct ‘Oyato’ politician. He is as an illustrious son of Oyo State who distinguished himself creditably in his career as a brave helmsman and top police chief.
Hon. Durodola extolled Otunba Alao-Akala’s selfless service and immeasurable contributions to the nation building especially, his legacies, left behind in the pacesetter state where he served meritoriously, as a governor.
“Oyo state would sorely miss Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala ‘Omo Iya Alaro’ as a selfless and vibrant politician who brought Ogbomosho in particular and Oyo state in general to the high pedestal of development.
Durodola prayed that may God grant the bereaved fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and repose the soul of late Otunba Alao-Akala.
