As one of the few who experienced your many sides, I must say your loss was a defining one, creating a gap within your political family which none could fill.

Without a doubt, you were a courageous leader, even to a fault. Your intelligence, eloquence, passion and wit played a great role in the development of our dear state. I am proud to have played a role in your administration in terms of creating a roadmap for infrastructural development, environmental enhancement, security and serenity of the State.

You will be fondly remembered as an extraordinary man of grit and tenacity. A man who did his bit to develop our dear state.
