Oyo South Senatorial District Hopeful, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Hon. ‘Bimbo Adekanmbi has mourned the death of His Royal Highness,Oba Abdulazeez Adewuyi Aribiyan II,the Asigangan of Igangan.”you’re a hero who fought gallantly against external aggression and fearlessly defended his people, even, in death, you remain great, Kabiesi”, he extolled.

The internationally trained forensic Accountant, Adekanmbi, in his condolence message message expressed deep sorrow over the passage of the traditional rule.”Despite all you went through, Your Highness stood firmly and reigned wonderfully on the throne of your forebears”, he lauded.

“It is with deep sorrow that I mourn the death of the Asigangan of Igangan land, Oba Abdulazeez Adewuyi, a foremost traditional ruler in Ibarapa North Local Government, and in the state, at large”, former DCoS, Adekanmbi lamented.

The former Finance Commissioner in the state, ‘Bimbo Adekanmbi furthered his condolence speech ans states that,“I sympathise with the family of the monarch,the entire sons and daughters of Igangan and the traditional councils, in Ibarapa zone and in the state, over this great loss. The late monarch no doubt contributed greatly to the return of peace and order to his town. Kabiesi fought courageously and defended his land gallantly. His people will sorely miss his guidance, gallantry and wise counsel.

Six months ago, Hon. ‘Bimbo Adekanmbi, on solidarity visit, paying homage to the late Oba Abdulazeez Adewuyi Aribiyan II, the recently transisted Asigangan of Igangan, after the bandits’ attacks on the community.

This Newspaper, Africano Trumpeters recalled that sometime in June this year, some suspected bandits, alleged as fulani killer herdsmen, numbering 50 on motorbikes, invaded Igangan community at night, leaving no fewer than 20 people dead, with several properties razed including the traditional ruler’s palace.

Six months ago, Hon. ‘Bimbo Adekanmbi, on solidarity visit, in a way forward meeting with the late Oba Abdulazeez Adewuyi Aribiyan II, the Asigangan of Igangan, after the bandits’ attacks on the community.

The Pro-people Politician, Adekanmbi, in his usual manners of standing with Ibarapa zone and other parts of the state, visited Igangan, commiserated with the late Asigangan of Igangan land, late Oba Lasisi and stood actively with the people of Igangan over the bandits’ attacks on the community, through the trying times and till now.
