In a profound act of spiritual commitment and unwavering loyalty to the progressive family, Honourable Adebola Shakirat Adetunji (ASHAD), an aspirant vying to represent Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency has sponsored five dedicated APC stalwarts from Oyo State to Saudi Arabia for Umrah. The spiritual mission focuses on praying for Nigeria’s peace, unity, and development, as well as the strengthening and victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) come 2027.
While in the Holy Cities of Medina and Mecca, the delegation ably led by Inaolaji Akinloye Adisa Ridwan, FCIFC has sought special intercession from fellow hujaj, offering intensive prayers for Nigeria. Key among their supplications are:
•Prayers for an end to insecurity across Nigeria
•Prayers that Almighty Allah expose and disgrace all satanic forces and individuals behind the nation’s security challenges
•Prayers for the restoration of lasting peace, divine protection, and prosperity for all Nigerians
The team further organised special prayers seeking resounding victory for the APC in the 2027 general elections, both at the national level and in Oyo State.
Upon their return, the delegation will observe a special Jumrah Service this Friday at the historic Oja Oba Central Mosque, Ibadan. They will use the occasion to appreciate party faithful and pay homage to the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, presenting him with special gifts from Saudi Arabia as a gesture of honour and gratitude.
