About ‘An Nur Islamic Foundation’:
An Nur Islamic Foundation was established five years ago by Asiwaju Yemi Yusuf and the like minds.
The Foundation’s core interests are to render helping hands to widows, elderly people, unhealthy citizens and other less privileged people, according to Quranic injunctions and Sunatic teaching of Prophet Muhammad.
According the Foundation’s Founder, Asiwaju Yemi Yusuf,”As the Modus Operandi laid by in Holy Quran by Allah Subhana Huwa Taala, that we should give alms, and engage in charity. This is part of what Allah likes most and we’re happy practicalising His orders.
Previous An Nur Islamic Foundation’s charity programmes:
Asiwaju Yemi Yusuf revealed,”We’ve done it during Covid-19 pandemic period, when things were very hard for people and they had nothing to eat. Then we gave out palliatives to the people in their hundreds.
He continued,”We also did support many people during cashless policy’s fallout, and we’ve engaged in other series of humanitarian services.
Foundation’s plans.
“Organising charity programmes, at least, three times in a year. That is every four months. The first one would be April, the second one would be August and the third one in December.
“The last one took place at Mapo Hall, in Ibadan, and the hands of supports of the Foundation spread across all communities in Ibadan land.
Asiwaju Yusuf hinted,”Among those that we’ve helped before are elders. We attended to elderly people, especially, those who are incapable of walking anymore. Most of them do not have what to eat.
“We have also given alms to the destitutes, and rendered different supports to widows. We’ve packaged and given food materials like rice, beans, garri and others to them.
“All these are done free of charge. No any motive behind our these actions except to glorify Allah and serve Humanity.
Among the Founder, Asiwaju Saheed Yemi Yusuf’s team members running the Foundation together with him are Hon. Abimbola Ganiyat, as secretary, Haija Kudirat Abolaji, as the vice president and others.
Forthcoming programme:
Another charity programme is coming up in August at Mapo Hall, in Ibadan.
Yemi Yusuf recalled,”When we started, we were like hundred in number, and later, we started increasing, gradually.
“Alhamdulilai, the charity activity we organised last took care of 1500 people. We distributed over 1500 palliatives.
“And as par this forthcoming one, we’re perfecting plans to to increase the numbers of beneficiaries. Though, to take care of a lot of people, the forthcoming charity programme might be more than what our mouth can chew. So, we humbly use this medium to reach out to good Nigerians, especially, empathetic and benevolent people, who are eager to support us. Please, come forth and aide us on this forthcoming one in August at Mapo Hall, in Ibadan.
“So, we dearly open our doors to anybody who wants to be parts of its sponsors, to come in. As said earlier, we welcome those that can take care of this forthcoming one in August. Yes, there is opportunity for that and such sponsorship will be highly appreciated.
