Speaking at the commissioning of Phase 1 of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road, the Chairman of the House Committee on Works, Hon. Akin Alabi, commended President Tinubu for his resolve and purposeful leadership.
Hon. Alabi emphasised the numerous obstacles encountered during the construction process, including significant structural and environmental challenges. He, however, praised the dedication and resilience of the executive and the Federal Ministry of Works, led by Engr David Umahi, for their commitment to delivering on the vision.
Alabi lauded the president’s foresight and courage in embarking on such a monumental infrastructure project, describing it as a clear demonstration of bold leadership and a renewed promise for Nigeria’s development.
While concluding , Alabi was assured that the National Assembly, through budgetary support and strategic appropriations, will continue to stand solidly behind Mr President in actualising his developmental agenda.
