This distressing incident transpired at Iware junction, located several kilometers from Ilua, along the Ilua/Ekokan road in Saki West. Shockingly, the victim, initially misidentified as Chief Ajani Kilani Azeez, remains shrouded in an unsettling silence, leaving the community in a state of bewilderment and concern.

This unsettling event challenges the very essence of a society that should ideally thrive on principles of law, unity, and peace.

Barrister W.O Lawal, renowned for his outstanding character, possessing a heart of gold, stands as a beacon of philanthropy, patriotism, and a fervent advocate for progress in our precious hometown, region, and the entire nation.

A dedicated peace seeker, he has become an unfortunate target of physical assault and molestation. The Council of Saki Visionary Leaders (CSVL) staunchly condemns such acts of violence, firmly asserting that they have no place in our societal fabric. The principle of “an injury to one is an injury to all” resonates profoundly in this context, emphasizing the collective responsibility to ensure the safety and well-being of every individual.

As we decry this reprehensible act, it is imperative to recognize that allowing this case to fade into obscurity poses a threat to the aspirations of future generations who envision a thriving community. The safety and security of our town, particularly in the Oke-Ogun region, hang in the balance.

CSVL asserts that justice for Barrister W.O Lawal must not be relegated to the shadows. This matter cannot be swept under the carpet or clandestinely handled behind closed doors. Our unwavering focus must be on ensuring the physical and legal well-being of Barrister W.O Lawal, standing as a testament to our commitment to justice, unity, and peace in our society.
