‘Ward&LG Congresses’: Hon Kazeem Adebayonle Sanni Salutes Ibadan North Apex Leaders, Oyo APC Party Leadership for Successful Exercise
Honourable Kazeem Adebayonle Sanni has commended the apex leaders, executive members and other stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ibadan North Local Government and Oyo State for organising peaceful and hitch-free ward and local government congresses across the 12 wards in the local government and, by extension, across the 33 local government areas of the state.
Hon. Sanni’s commendation message was contained in a statement he issued and made available to journalists after the conduct of the local government exercise in Ibadan North local government on Saturday, 21st February, 2026.
Hon. Sanni, who is an influential chieftain of the party and grassroots mobiliser, noted that the peaceful conduct of the process reflects the strength and readiness of the party to build a strong structure at the grassroots level ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Sanni, who congratulated the new executive members in Ibadan North local government led by the chairman, Engr Bayonle Salami, praised party leaders for ensuring inclusiveness by carrying all stakeholders along in the consensus arrangement that led to the selection of the new executive members.
Sanni expressed confidence in the capacity of the new executives to lead the party towards unprecedented electoral victory in the 2027 general elections.
Hon. Sanni equally commended the outgoing local government executive members in Ibadan North local government led by Alhaji Taofeek Olayiwola for their dedication, commitment and ability to lead the party to victory in the 2023 general elections.
While urging the new executive to remain committed to service and let the interest of the party be their utmost priority, Sanni solicits members’ cooperation and support for the new leadership for the overall progress of the party.
