‘Ward&LG Congresses’: Hon. Mrs Feyisayo Oladiipo Lauds APC Leaders for Hitch-Free Exercise
Hon. (Mrs) Feyisayo Oladiipo has commended executive members and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State for organising peaceful and hitch-free ward and local government congresses across the 33 local government areas in the state.
Hon. Oladiipo’s commendation message was contained in a statement she issued and made available to journalists after the conduct of the local government exercise in Oluyole local government on Saturday, 21st February, 2026.
Hon. Oladiipo, who is an aide to former Governor Abiola Ajimobi and president of the NGO Better Life for Women Initiative, noted that the peaceful conduct of the process reflects the strength and readiness of the party to build a strong structure at the grassroots level ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Oladiipo, who congratulated the new executive members in Oluyole local government led by the Chairman, Hon. Dotun Oladipupo praised party leaders for ensuring inclusiveness by carrying all stakeholders along in the consensus arrangement that led to the selection of the new executive members.
Oladiipo expressed confidence in the capacity of the new executives to lead the party towards unprecedented electoral victory in the 2027 general elections.
Hon. Oladiipo equally commended the outgoing local government executive members in Oluyole local government led by Alhaji Waheed Akinleye for their dedication, commitment and ability to lead the party to victory in the 2019 and 2023 general elections.
While urging the new executive to remain committed to service and let the interest of the party be their utmost priority, Oladiipo solicits members’ cooperation and support for the new leadership for the overall progress of the party.
