We Remember A Leader Who Lived with Integrity – Hon Bimbo Kolade Lauds Late Gov Ajimobi
Hon. Bimbo Kolade, the federal commissioner for Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) from Oyo State, has described the two-term tenure of the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi as a remarkable era filled with enduring achievements that laid the foundation for Oyo State’s ongoing development and transformation.
Reflecting on his time working closely with the late governor during his first and second terms between 2011 and 2019 as a commissioner and afterwards as a close associate, Hon. Kolade lauded the late Gov. Ajimobi. “We remember a leader who lived with integrity. A political colossus and visionary. The architect and builder of the ‘NEW OYO STATE’.
“The APC, the good people of Oyo State and Nigeria as a nation reflect on the indelible ‘AJIMOBI LEGACY’ you etched in the annals of history. Your ideology was never rhetorical; you delivered on promises with unwavering follow-through while you were Governor of Oyo State.
“As we celebrate the 5th year of your exit, we grieve this great loss, but our thoughts are mingled with gratitude to God for a life you so profoundly lived. May Allah continue to grant you Aljanat Firdaus.
“Working with Governor Abiola Ajimobi offered me the opportunity to witness his depth, discipline, and capacity for quality governance,” Kolade stated.
“Gov. Ajimobi brought a rare combination of private sector acumen and public service reform, introducing efficiency and structure to the system without compromising his principles. Indeed, we celebrate him today and forever”, Kolade submitted.
