We’ve Lost A Worthy Representative – Repete Mourns Oyo Rep, Akinremi Jagaban

Ibadan-born US-based Engineer, Khalil Mustapha Repete has expressed his pain over the death of Hon. Olaide Akinremi Jagaban, lawmaker representing, Ibadan North federal constituency in Oyo State.

Akinremi Jagaban, who returned for his second term as federal lawmaker died Wednesday morning at the age of 51, after a brief illness.

In his condolence message, Repete said it is with a heavy heart that he joins the bereaved family, the people of Ibadan North federal constituency, and the entire APC, to mourn the passing of a representative and party man, Distinguished Hon. Olaide Akinremi Jagaban.

“I received the sad news of the passing of Hon. Olaide Akinremi Jagaban with rude shock. It is indeed a painful and great loss for the people of Ibadan North Federal Constituency, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, and the country at large,”

“ Late Akinremi is a consummate politician. He was a community mobilizer; firm and considerate in the discharge of his duties. He was compassionate, kind, and hardworking.

Until his demise, the Oyo federal legislator was a dedicated public servant known for his unwavering commitment to the development of his constituency and the country at large. His passion for service, coupled with his deep understanding of the needs and aspirations of his people, earned him the endearing title of ‘Jagaban.’

“Hon. Akinremi was a force to reckon with. He served diligently and promoted projects that enhanced the living standards of his people. He will be remembered for his selfless service and commitment to the development of his constituency.

“I commiserate with the Akinremi family, Oyo APC as well as his associates and constituency. I pray that God will grant all the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.” Repete prayed.
