Why We Must Come Out to Register with APC – Adeolu Akande.

The Chairman, Nigerian Communication Commission, Prof Adeolu Akande has called on residents and people of Itesiwaju Local Government to come out and register en masse with the All Progressives Congress, APC.

While on a sensitization tour across the 10 wards of the Local Government, the NCC Boss explained that it is with the numbers the LG produces that will indirectly spur the party at the State in allocating political positions to them. He also used the occasion to encourage the good people of Oyo State to use this opportunity to join the party, All Progress Congress(APC) that he described as “our great party”. 

Prof Adeolu Akande also saluted efforts of the party’s leadership at the state level in reconciling warring factions within the party, Oyo APC.

He reiterated that “a united All Progressives Congress(APC) can never be defeated and with efforts ongoing we are poised to get the state back”.

He stated this at Ward 7, Oke Amu of the local government while addressing the party faithful who had come to welcome him.

The All Progressives Congress(APC) started its membership registration and revalidation exercise on the 9th February 2021 and it runs till 23rd of this month, February.

The party Chairman in Itesiwaju Local Government, Alh Osuolale Awoleye in his speech at Igbojaye appreciated Prof Adeolu Akande for finding time to join other party leaders in the sensitization tour and he also appreciated former Commissioner Ajiboye Omodewu and Survivor Shiyanbola who were in attendance in representation.

Among party leaders who joined the NCC Boss, Adeolu in the sensitization tour were Hon Dejo Adebisi,former SSA to Oyo State Government,Hon. Niyi Adeagbo, the Council Chairman, former LG Chairmen, Hon Adisa Adeniji, Chief Supo Layode, Hon Adeniji, former State Secretary of the Party, Hon. Dele Akinleye, former NUT National President, Sunday Ajibola among others.
