In a show of celebration of benevolent leadership and paying a birthday homage, the Ibadan North All The Congress (APC) 2024 chairmanship and councillorship candidates paid a courtesy visit to one of the key stakeholders of Oyo APC Peace Advocates, Prince Niran Adeyoju, on Wednesday, October 15, at SDM Tavern, Agodi, Ibadan.

Hon. Dayo Adeniyi, the chairmanship candidate of the party in the 2024 local government election in the Ibadan North Local Council Area, lauded Adeyoju for his dedication and commitment towards the progress of the APC.

Adeniyi continued, “As you’re deeply committed to the progress of our great party, it is important to also note that your support and kindness to all the party candidates across the 12 wards in the local government is applaudable and well appreciated. We are incredibly grateful for your precious motivation, which could not be erased in our political journey.

In his remarks, Adeyoju expressed his gratitude to the honourables for their love, honour, and worthy visitation. He noted that he felt elated for the birthday celebration and their commitment to the progress of the party.

Adeniyi relayed how Oyo APC Peace Advocates have been trying to resolve the issues surrounding internal wrangling within the party in Oyo State. “In spite of challenges, the Peace Advocates has achieved success to a large extent. He lauded the roles of Peace Advocates in the organisation of the leadership summit that was held on October 14 in Ibadan, which he said has sent a signal to the PDP that the APC is retracing its path to unity in Oyo State.

“Without peace there won’t be unity and progress. Peace advocates have started preaching good reward systems, all-inclusiveness, and transparency, among others, within the party, which will pave the way for those that were working tirelessly for the party to benefit immensely and encourage those that are not to put more effort towards the progress of the party.

Adeyoju also assigned the roles to the honourables in their respective wards and commended them on their efforts on the party, encouraging the party faithful to strengthen their efforts on party unity. “Winners never quit, and quitters never win,” he reiterated.

Also in attendance were Elder David Oluokun, Hon. Iyabo Olorunsogo, Hon. Suara Omolayo, Hon. Folashade Adeshina, Hon. Bukola Adeoye and Hon. Afeez Bello Mabinuori.
