Yoruba Nation : Iyaloja- General, Folasade Tinubu-Ojo Hosts SFYY , Urges Youth to be ICT Savvy, Promote Yoruba Culture .
The Iyaloja-General and daughter of National Leader of All Progressives Congress, Chief Mrs Folasade Tinubu-Ojo has hosted the leadership of Supreme Forum of Yoruba Youths(SFYY) at her residence in Lagos yesterday.
Folasade used the avenue to advise the youths in Yoruba land to use their youthful age and the opportunity provided by modern technology for the promotion of Yoruba culture and traditions.
Chief Tinubu-Ojo who was full of enthusiasm by seeing the youths gaily dressed in Yoruba attires, described youths as the hope of any nation. She urged them to be focused and determined in order to achieve their set objectives.
She expressed her gratitude for the visit and promised to support their activities.
The national President of SFYY, Comrade Femi Awogboro stated that the forum was set up with a common trust, unity, hope and progress in the interest of new generational youths towards sustaining Yoruba heritage as it were since time immemorial.
“SFYY is a non profit and non-political organisation but an avenue to create a sense of identity and togetherness among Yoruba Youths with the primary objective of promoting, maintaining and sustaining our culture and heritage”.
Awogboro thanked Iyaloja-general for her warm reception. The body also congratulated Chief Tinubu-Ojo on her birthday and presented a birthday gift to her .
