Yoruba Nation : SFYY Mourns Ajimobi , Describes His Demise As Great Loss .
“The late Abiola Ajimobi is a leader and father to entire Yoruba youths . His death remains a rude shock to us as an organization and a great loss to entire Yoruba nation . He left for an unreturnable journey, when he was needed most.
‘Igi tótó kìí pé n’ígbó’
The late Abiola Ajimobi was a man of his words, lover of youths and promoter of Yoruba prestigious heritage. He was a paradigm of good conduct and moral value.
During his tenure as the governor of Oyo state, he made unprecedented successful records, that took the state to a modern and global standards. We call him ‘the architect of modern oyo state’.
Under him as governor, Oyo state witnessed a greater turnaround in economy, security and other beneficial aspect of life.
He was a committed statesman , who dedicated all his life serving the humanity. The vacuum he left behind can’t be easily filled.
We ask the mighty God to forgive all his shortcomings, accept his return and repose him in His eternal peaceful rest.
Our prayers and thoughts are with his family, may God give to them, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss of their noble patriarch.
