Yoruba Nation : Tribute! We Have Lost Great Leader In Sen Abiola Ajimobi – Mogaji Chris Fawole, Convener of Omo Oduduwa Koya Movt

Late Sen Abiola Ajimobi

“WE LOST A GREAT LEADER IN SENATOR ABIOLA AJIMOBI.
TRIBUTE FROM MOGAJI CHRIS FAWOLE, THE CONVENER OF OMO ODUDUWA KOYA MOVEMENT.

Today, Nigeria has lost one of its most important leaders, and one of its finest human beings , change agents and illustrious sons from Ibadan in Oyo State.
History will remember Senator Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi as a champion for peace and security, and a man with unmatched dream for new and modernized Oyo state, who never relented on his oars till he breathed his last on 25th June, 2020. We will remember him as a man of uncommon grace and compassion, whom abandoning bitterness and embracing adversaries was not just a political strategy but a way of life.
Senator Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi as a lover of truth displayed rare virtues among Nigeria’s Political leaders. He was never shy to admit truths no matter how harsh or hard it sounds when confronted with superior argument. He would never witch-hunt anybody for telling him truth. Yet he successfully coped with Yes men around him without calling them names. He never bother running after rumour mongers. A great leader in the order of Obafemi Awolowo, Late Chief Bola Ige and late Great Lam Adesina is gone.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mrs. Flourence Ajimobi and the entire Ajimobi family, the National Party leader of APC, Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the people of Ibadan and Oyo State who have just lost one of their courageous sons and Yoruba nation who has just lost a change agent and a true image of progressiveness.
All of us at Omo Oduduwa-Koya Movement, a socio political movement emancipating for the freedom of Yoruba nation, and passionate for the achievement of the renewed glory of Yoruba land- would surely miss him in this strategic time in our history, when his support is highly needed for the accomplishment of the aims and objectives of the Group. Ajimobi proved that there is a freedom in forging ahead in struggle; that a big heart is better than a closed mind; and that life’s real victories must be worked for without getting distracted to noise of nay sayers.
Rest on, Senator Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi, for your legacies live on.

Signed:
