Yoruba Organisation Hails Salami on Elevation As Ajia Balogun of Ibadanland

A Pan-Yoruba organisation, Supreme Forum of Yoruba Youths(SFYY) has congratulated Adenrele Lekan Salami-Oyetunde on his elevation to Ajia Balogun of Ibadanland, a prestigious title in Yoruba culture.

The organisation maintained that the honour recognizes Salami’s contributions to the community and his leadership role in promoting Yoruba heritage.

A statement by it’s National President, Comrade Femi Awogboro described elevation of Salami to Ajia Balogun as a significant milestone in his illustrious career.

According to Awogboro,”Details of Salami’s background are scarce, it is known that notable individuals with the Salami surname have made impactful contributions to Nigerian society.

The Yoruba Organisation’s recognition of Salami’s achievements underscores the importance of community leadership and cultural preservation.

“As a respected figure in Ibadanland, Salami’s elevation is expected to inspire others to emulate his exemplary service.

Awogboro stated,”As Salami assumes his new role, he is expected to continue promoting the values and traditions of Yoruba culture.

The organisation’s celebration of Salami’s elevation serves as a testament to the enduring legacy of Yoruba leaders and their contributions to Nigerian society.
