Yuletide: Former Council Boss, OMOBAO Greets Christians, Nigerians
As Christians in Nigeria join others around the world to celebrate this year Christmas, the former Chairman, Aare Latoosa Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Ibadan North Local Government Area of Oyo-State, Babasorun Adekunle Oladeji, popularly called “Omo BAO,” has felicitated with Christians as the faithful celebrate the birth of Lord Jesus Christ.
Oladeji, in a release through his media office, urged Christians to use the festive occasion to pray for unity, peace, and prosperity in the country.
OMOBAO called on the people of Oyo State, especially the residents of the Ibadan North federal constituency, to rededicate themselves to the service of humanity in line with the true teachings of Jesus Christ, which emphasise tolerance, patience, brotherly kindness, care for the needy, and love for one another, among other virtues.
Oladeji encouraged the faithful to remain committed to showing love to their neighbours and the underprivileged as they celebrate the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ.
OMOBAO added that Jesus Christ was an embodiment of sacrificial love, to the point that He gave His life for the redemption of mankind.
He said, “As we celebrate the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, let us all remember that it is a time to spread the love of Christ with family, friends, neighbours, and the underprivileged in society.
“Let me use this moment of glad tidings to felicitate with the management and staff of Kastron Oil and Gas Marketing Company, my families, friends, my constituents, the Ibadan North federal constituency, and the leadership and members of the Oyo state chapter of APC. Merry Christmas and a prosperous year 2024 in advance.”
