YULETIDE: Hon Shakirat Adetunji Celebrates Christmas, Felicitates With Christian Faithful, Nigerians

Shakirat Adetunji, popularly known as ASHAD, has felicitated with the Christian faithful, good people of Ibadan Northeast and Ibadan Southeast Federal Constituency, and Nigerians generally, on the occasion of this year’s Christmas celebration.

Shakirat Adetunji, urged the faithful to always put first what Jesus Christ represents, which is love, peace, and kindness. ” Calvary greetings to our Christian brothers and sisters, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Also, I want to encourage us all to continue in the vineyard of the Lord Jesus Christ, and I pray for you, myself, and all Nigerians that our heart desires will be met in this new year. In his Christmas message, the frontline advocate of equal gender opportunities, Hon. Adetunji, stated further that,”This yuletide season does not only commemorate the birth of Christ, ‘the Prince of Peace’; it also signifies to the Christian community the arrival of good tidings of joy, peace, and renewed hope.
“What is Christmas? It is the tenderness of the past, courage for the present, and hope for the future. Despite the challenges we’re facing in the past few years and presently, locally and globally, it is enough to celebrate the gift of life and God’s mercy. Let’s rejoice and reach out to the needy around us during this festive period and beyond.
“Christmas is the season of joy, of gift-giving, and of families united. Dearly, I wish all our good people in Oyo State and the entire human race a wonderful and blessed season.
“Once again, I dearly felicitate with my Christian brothers and sisters, at home and in diasporas, as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ this Christmas. I wish my Christian sisters and brothers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in advance.” Hon. Adetunji submitted.
