Yuletide: Ibadan North West Goes Agog As Dr Adebayo Adams Holds Christmas Party Amid Funfair(PHOTOS).

A leading Oyo-State House of Assembly Hopeful, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC), from Ibadan Northwest Constituency, come 2023, Honourable(Dr) Adams Adebayo Yusuf has organised his this year annual “Father Christmas Children Party Carol” today, December 19, at Community School, Akintola, Opposite Cimoh Hotel, Adjacent Recreation Club, in Ibadan Northwest Local Government Area of the State.

While giving his welcome address, the Renown Agrotech Expert, Dr Adams stated that “Dear leaders, our lovely kids and their valued parents, here, gathered today! Festive greetings to us all. As we all know, this is Yuletide which is meant to celebrate the birth of Lord Jesus Christ. It’s annual ritual and today we have an event, here. It’s to show love, share gifts and put smiles on the faces of our children. Everybody is writing history and may God make all of us good history.

Dr Adams recalled the creation of Adams and Eve in the Holy Book, Genesis 2:7,8,9 and other related verses and emphasised the importance of leadership, especially, good one.

The highly influential Youth Advocate, Dr Adams lauded participants, party chieftains and community leaders, present at the event for their love and supports .”Thank you all, sirs and mas”,he said.

While addressing the gathering, a leader of APC in Ibadan Northwest, Hon Ajas recalled that the Christmas carol party was being organized inside Ibadan Northwest APC party office but due to an increase In population, it is scheduled to be held at the chosen venue. He lauded Hon. Adams’ Omoluabi Ethos and prayed that Almighty God will continue to elevate his status.

The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN Representative, Reverend Bamidele Hannien Taiwo appreciated God for his love and protection over humanity, especially, the people at the event. He extended his season’s greetings to everyone and advised people to, always, be grateful to God.

In his own remarks, Hon. Tunde Lawal prayed for the children, extolled Hon. Adams’ virtues and advised youth to exemplify Hon. Adams as their role model.

A Chieftain of the party from Akinyele Local Government and 2023 OYHA Hopeful, Hon Adeyemo Abass(Adebass) greeted everyone in attendance and saluted Dr Adebayo Adams’ courage and commitment towards the cause of humanity and progressive ideals.

The immediate past Chairman of Councillors’ Forum in Oyo-State, Hon. Adesoji Adesokan saluted Hon. Adams and all his fellow councillors for their commitments and tenacity. He used the avenue to laud the supreme court for affirming chairmen, vice chairmen and councillors’ mandate and their elections conducted during the administration of former Gov. Ajimobi RIP.

Former Vice Chairman Aare Latosa LCDA and Publisher, Africano Trumpeters Newspaper, Comrade Monsuru Adeyemo(Socrates) lauded the dignitaries in attendance. He fostered peace, oneness and unity among people, irrespective of their creed or colour. Comrade Adeyemo specially commended Dr Adams’ contributions towards human capacity development, empowerment programmes and societal advancement, at large. He described Adams as a poster boy of Oyo APC and a man of integrity.

Hon. Oyepeju Ademola(Ara) appreciated the organizer, Hon. Adams, he encouraged people to get their Permanent Voters Cards(PVC’s) and vote for Hon. Adams and APC generally, come 2023. Hon. Ara prayed for the children and wished everybody happy festive period.

More than 300 children benefitted from Dr Adams’ gesture. Other side attractions, at the event, were dancing and quiz competitions where five winners were given financial rewards and other gifts.
