Yuletide: MHR Hopeful, Hon Shakirat Adetunji Organises Christmas Party Amid Funfair in Ibadan(PHOTOS).

Member, House of Representatives, MHR Hopeful, from Ibadan Northeast/Southeast Federal Constituency, under the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC), come 2023, Honourable Shakirat Adetunji popularly known as “ASHAD” has, in conjunction with Nigerian Television Authority(NTA), organised this year edition of her Christmas Funfair Party, on Tuesday, December 21 at NTA Ibadan Network Television Station, Agodi Gate, in Ibadan.

While addressing pressmen at the event, the illustrious Daughter of Ibadan Land, Hon. Adetunji said that,”My name is Alhaja Shakirat Adebola Adetunji. I’m the Chairperson and CEO, Essential World Link Limited. Also, I’m the Chairperson/CEO, ASHAD Foundation. The motive behind this event is that I like to celebrate children and I feel like to do so now, as Christmas comes once in a year and this is only time we can all come together and have quality time for the kids. We’re here today to facilitate meeting of our kids with Father Christmas and to advise them more, importantly, on their educational progress. This is also the best time to keep a good relationship with them and make them happy.

While advising parents, Hon. Shakirat Adetunji stated that,”My advice for us parents, now, is that during this holiday, we should create more time for our kids. As we all know, they spend most of their time in school, so, we need to create more time for them, especially, to know the types of friends they keep and to know what has really transpired during the school hours and days. We should give them words of encouragements, to be focus, determined and successful in life.

The Business Tycoon, Hon. Adetunji furthered her speech and said that,”As we celebrate birth, death and resurrection of the Lord, Jesus Christ, I am happy to celebrate with the children of my federal constituency. Yes, we are celebrating the beautiful blessing of God, children, here today, at NTA Ibadan Network Television Station, Agodi Gate in Ibadan. Let’s to rejoice together. Happy Yuletide”.

The Renown Gender Equality Advocate, Hon. Adetunji greeted people,”Happy festive period, merry Christmas and happy new year, in advance “,she said.

Among leaders present at the event were Hon. Olu-Abiola, Prince Gbade Lana, Hon. Rasaq Ekundayo and others.
