2023: Prince Akinremi “Jagaban”, Other Leaders Welcome Kazeem Alimi, His Teeming Supporters Back to “Mainstream APC” in Ibadan North LG (PHOTOS).
Member, House of Representatives (MHR) from Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon.(Prince) Musiliu Olaide Akinremi “Jagaban” and the apex leaders in Ibadan North Local Government Area of Oyo-State have welcomed back the Grassroots Politician, Hon. Kazeem Alimi to the mainstream of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in the local government.
As gathered, thousands of Hon. Alimi’s followers were received, yesterday, at APC Ibadan North Local Government meeting at Oke Apon.
It was a colourful event attended by Apex leaders and party stalwarts across the wards of the local government.
Hon Akinremi also received Mrs Dorcas Olusola of PDP and her supporters to APC.
While addressing the mammoth crowd, Hon. Akinremi embraced Hon. Alimi as a big fish in political circle of Ibadan North. In Akinremi’s words,”Hon. Kazeem Alimi has never get tired. He’s a grassroot politician with large numbers of followers and he’s tactically, sound, politically.
Hon. Prince Olaide Akinremi commended the leaders in the party from ward to state level, for the steadfastness in ensuring the success of APC to win all elective positions in the forthcoming elections. He said: “the crowd here is impressive. Somebody earlier today said that APC members in Ibadan North may fight but when it comes to electioneering period, they get their acts together to achieve success. Our blessings are enormous in Ibadan North with good leaders who are working hard for the success of the party.
Hon. Kazeem Alimi while speaking with addressing pressmen said:“The storms are over. No more factions, no more fractions in APC. So, I’m back and better to the mainstream platform of my great party, APC in Ibadan North.
“Though, I was in APC before, but with Alh Wale Sanusi’s group. Meanwhile, myself and my team did not follow him to Accord party. We are now back, officially, to Hon Akinremi’s fold, which is the mainstream podium of APC in Ibadan North Local Government”, Hon. Alimi added.
Among apex leaders in attendance were, Alh. Oladeji BAO, Hon. Shina Alabi, Hon. Ademola Omotoso, Alhaja Tinuade Adigun, Alhaja Tairat Adeyemi and host of other leaders. All the Local Government executives and members were also attended the meeting.
