APC: TLF BoT Chair, Akeem Congratulates Group’s Grand Patron, Ganduje, Hails Ex-Senate  Spokesperson, Bashir.

The Chairman, Board of Trustees(BoT),“Tinubu Legacy Forum(TLF)”, Alhaji Ganiyu Akeem has congratulated the immediate past Governor of Kano State, who also doubles as TLF Grand Patron, Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje over his emergence as the national chairman of the All Progressives Conference(APC). He also felicitated with the former Spokesperson of Nigerian Senate, Senator Ajibola Bashir as the newly elected secretary of the party.

The Chieftain of APC from Oyo State, Alh. Akeem hailed the appointments of the the duo as the best thing that could have happened to the party.“This is another auspicious moment in the annals of our great party. The duo taking the mantle of leadership as national chairman and secretary are men of timber and caliber. They are core progressives who are well grounded in the ideals of good governance and shown deep love and loyalty to the party. So, on behalf of myself, grand patroness, TLF Board of Trustees, TLF Executives and Members, at home and in diasporas, I congratulate them and I wish them successful, peaceful and productive tenure in office.

The South West Chairman, Amalgamated All Progressives Congress(APC) Support Groups(AASG), Alh. Akeem recalled that it was late Governor Abiola Ajimobi of the blessed memory that introduced the TLF to Alhaji Ganduje.”I recall that it was late Governor Abiola Ajimobi that introduced us to Alhaji Umar Abdullahi Ganduje. His Excellency, Alh. Ganduje gave us royal treatment when we paid him visit in Kano and He accepted to be our Grand Patron. Since then, He has always prove it that He is a charismatic leader, and capacious helmsman. So, in Gov. Ganduje, APC has a leader that understands the ideals of true progressivism and how to ensure that the party continues to forge ahead on that path. Also, Sen Ajibola Basiru is not a stranger to leadership having been spokesman of the Senate and influential commissioner in the state of Osun.

The renowned Islamic Cleric, Alh. Akeem reiterated that,”It is my belief that this new leadership of the party would work in good stead to galvanise the party as it prepares for elections in the nearest and foreseeable future. Once again, Congratulations, Sirs.”

Recall that the candidacy of former Governor of Kano State, Alh. Abdullahi Ganduje and Sen. Ajibola Bashiru were pushed up following the resignation of the immediate past Chairman, Alh. Abdullahi Adamu and National Secretary, Sen. Iyiola Omisore. Their appointments were ratified at the National Executive Council(NEC) meeting which was attended by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other bigwigs of the party.
