Easter: Monsuru Obisesan Greets Christians, Sympathises with Araromi Market Traders

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC) and Oyo State House of Assembly Aspirant from Ibadan North East Constituency-I, Hon. Obisesan Monsuru Gbadebo(Obaloluwa) has felicitated with Christians on the occasion of this year Easter celebration.

Obisesan, also, sympathised with the traders of Araromi market, popularly known as “Iso Part, at Agodi, Gate in Ibadan North East Local Government Area of the state, who lost multi million naira worth of properties and goods to the inferno that gutted the market yesterday. He prayed to God Almighty to grant them fortitude to overcome the loss. Monsuru called on well meaning Nigerians and good Samaritans to assist the traders.

“Have a blessed and meaningful Easter! Wishing you the kind of Easter that touches your hearts like a prayer and blesses your lives with the gift of amazing grace. Best wishes for a joyous Easter!”, Obaloluwa prayed.

Easter is a special annual festival for the followers of Christianity, symbolising hope, renewal and growth. It is the celebration of the resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ from the tomb on the third day after his crucifixion.

Unlike Christmas, the festival of Easter is not celebrated on the same day every year, it is called a moveable feast. This day falls on the first Sunday following the first full moon on or after March 21st and as late as April 11. This year, the day falls on April 4th.
