ECOWAS: Ex-Gov Ajimobi’s Aide, Inaolaji Akinloye Congratulates President Tinubu over Emergence As Chairman.

Inaolaji Akinloye, former Aide to late Gov. Abiola Ajimobi, on information, has congratulated Nigerian Helmsman, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over his emergence as Chairman of Authority of the Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States(ECOWAS).

President Tinubu, who attended the forum of West African leaders for the first time at the 63rd Ordinary Session, was announced as Chairman on Sunday in Bissau, the capital of Guinea-Bissau.

President Tinubu took over the chairmanship of the regional organisation from the outgoing leader of the sub-regional political and economic body, President Umaro Sissoco Embaló of Guinea-Bissau.

The Assistant Director of the Strategic Communications Committee of Oyo State All Progressives Congress(APC) 2023 Presidential and Gubernatorial Campaign Council, Inaolaji described President Tinubu as a charismatic leader and unrepentant democrat who has perfect grasp of all it takes to protect the democratic culture in the sub-region, and advance the cause of West African nations.

Inaolaji saluted West African leaders for their trust reposed in President Tinubu to lead ECOWAS, and he prayed that may Allah continue to guide President Tinubu in all ramifications.

As the Chairman, President Tinubu will play a crucial role in leading the ECOWAS member states towards economic development, political stability, and cooperation.

As the newly appointed Chairman, President Tinubu will collaborate closely with member states, regional institutions, and international partners to implement initiatives aimed at promoting economic growth, regional trade integration, and social development.

President Tinubu is also expected to focus on strengthening the ECOWAS’ collective response to security threats and fostering closer cooperation among member states in addressing regional challenges.
