MUSWEN Congratulates Tinubu, Seeks God’s Guidance, Protection for President-elect.
Muslim Ummah of Southwest, Nigeria(MUSWEN), the umbrella body of all Muslim organisations and the voice of all Muslims in the six South West States of Nigeria- Ekiti, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Osun and Oyo, has congratulated President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on his electoral victory, praying that may Almighty Allah continues to guide his ways and thoughts.
In a congratulatory message personally signed by the President, MUSWEN and Deputy President-General (South), Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Alhaji Rasaki Oladejo, FCS, and obtained by this Newspaper, Africano Trumpeters on Friday, MUSWEN maintained that this is the first time the umbrella would openly identify with and canvass its members to unanimously vote for a particular candidate in any election. It rejoiced that its members rallied round the former Lagos state governor with their votes and their votes counted.
