Oyo South: Ido Agog As Akin Olajide, Supporters Visit Alh Ajisafe, Other APC Chieftains.

Immediately after observing his Jumat prayer at Ansarudeen Central Mosque, a front line Oyo South Senatorial Hopeful, Waheed Akin Olajide(WAO) and his team have today,January 21, visited one of the most influential leaders of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Ido Local Government Area of Oyo-State, Alhaji Kamorudeen Ajisafe at his residence, in Omi Adio Area, Ibadan.

While seeking for the support of APC leader and his followers, Olajide asked Alh. Ajisafe to be his guide and call his attention if he sees him going in wrong direction.”I will bring positive change to Oyo South Senatorial District, if elected”, he promised.

In his remarks, Alh. Ajisafe, recalled the happiest moment when Akin Olajide was announced as Secretary to Oyo State Government after Senator Isiaq Ajimobi’s election as Oyo State Governor in 2011.

Ajisafe described Akin Olajide as a person that speaks the truth and one of the best among the Oyo South senatorial aspirants.”The integrity of Akin Olajide is speaking for him”,he reiterated.

In continuation of his consultation to leaders across Ido Local Government, Waheed Akin Olajide, WAO’s Team also held meeting with other powerful leaders.

Among the bigwigs visited is former Council Chairman in Ido, Hon Wahab Oladejo. He commended Akin Olajide on his achievements as SSG, especially, when he proposed that schools that are on the verge of moribund across every local government in Oyo State should be rehabilitated. The policy which later brought an improvement to education sector in the State.

Former Party Chairman in Ido Local Government, Alhaj Bashir Babalola recalled his first meeting with Akin Olajide which was very fruitful and he described Akin Olajide as someone who does not receive bribe. “I’ve volunteered myself as coordinator for Akin Olajide in Ido local government”, he declared.

In his remarks, former councillor in Ido Local Government, Alhaj Moshood Oyebamiji maintained that if God wishes Akin Olajide to be the next senator in Oyo South, nobody can stop him. He narrated his experience when people were underrating him when he was vying for the position of Councillor, and which he later emerged as the winner.

In his remarks, Akin Olajide asserted that God is the one who decides the winner before the race. He asked for the full supports of the party leaders and members across the Local Government.
