The distinguished Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi popularly known as Okanlomo has yesterday embarked on a progressive tour to Oyo Alaafin .
Oyo progressive elders welcomed Okanlomo of Ibadan to the ancient city . The 88 year old Pa Samuel Akin Ojebode appreciated his visit and mission to reunite the progressive family in the state. Baba Ojebode advised him not to relent on his mission and commended his age long maturity and magnanimity .
Akanbi also visited Alhaji Lasisi Ayanyinka Ayankojo. Baba Ayankojo lauded Senator’s mission and undying love for the progressive fold .
“My this journey is not based on ambition but , rather, to seek elders advise and supports on the struggles to get the party, All Progressives Congress(APC) back on the track”, Akanbi stated .
Sen. Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi was also sighted with the former ADC stalwart in Oyo, Mr Abiodun Adeyemo(Biddy) and some other prominent politicians in the town. On the Senator’s remarks, he urged them to rejoin the party, APC and work for the progress of the party in the subsequent electioneering periods and elections .
