Socrates’ Thinkery: REFLECTIONS | By Monsuru Adeyemo

Socrates’ Thinkery: REFLECTIONS | By Monsuru Adeyemo.

Yes, there are extraordinary benefactors who use 24 Karat golden trough to serve expensive food like “Beluga Caviar” to the needy, but still, some of their beneficiaries will accuse them of not polishing the golden plate very well before using it to serve.

May God, always bless generous givers, notable philanthropists, selfless pathfinders and blue-eyed benefactors. They’re heroes/heroines without wings, and angle-incarnates. And may God count us among their lists and bless them, always.

As funny as men, and such as their thoughts. Recently, I heard something that amused me and it made me to relook into complexities of life.

Without trying to sound immodest, someone who agreed that I’m part of his history and that God used me for him to get a “mega” lifelong empowerment, many years ago, still, he accused me of not giving him contacts to muster multi million naira for a particular project he wanted to execute. He stated that that was why he and some of his people distanced themselves from me. He sounded as if I even have such contacts, and even if I do, as if it is that easy to compel powerful people to give out money.

Ingrates and traitors here and there, but the joy of it is that no ill feelings and no issues with anybody.

Human beings are complex and people have many deviating ideosyncrasies. But still, members of human race remain the best. We just need to pray to God for guidance. Like my grandmother’s prayer,”May God always guide us to now whom to be closed to and whom to avoid.

Summarily, it is true that human want is insatiable. You can never satisfy human beings. So, just do your best and leave the rest. Meanwhile, never forget yourself in the schemings, and never expect reward from people, but from God.

Truly, beyond Intelligence Quotient(IQ), in order to cope in this life, one needs to, always, pray for God’s guidance, and work on his Emotional Intelligence(EI), Social Intelligence(SI) and Adversity Intelligence(AI). May God always protect us from evils of sociopaths that mostly populate world, and may we never be one.

Good morning, Africa.

Comrade Monsuru Adeyemo(Socrates), philosophically, reflecting in his “Thinkery”.
