2027: Adelabu Hosts Oyo APC Leaders, Vows to Serve Piously, Meritoriously

Chief Adebayo Adelabu, the leading governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, has vowed to serve both the party and the state piously and meritoriously.

Adelabu made the pledge at the ongoing all-inclusive APC meeting at Jogor Centre, Ibadan.

Adelabu, who began his prayer with a song of thanks to God and the leaders present, expressed deep appreciation to his supporters, APC leaders, and the entire party faithful across the state.

“I humbly stand before this progressive gathering to appreciate you all for your support since we commenced my 2019 governorship agenda together. I also want to officially inform you of my intention to contest the 2027 guber poll, and I count on your support more than ever before,” Adelabu said.

Adelabu hinted that he has already informed his local government, Southeast APC leaders, local government executives, and ward executives, while canvassing support for his governorship ambition.

“It’s not over until it’s over. I’m here again to solicit your mercy, to solicit your support and by His Grace, I will never let you down.

“With all senses of humility, I’m the most prepared governorship aspirant. Everyday, I write programmes, projects and policies to make life better for the good people of Oyo State. By His Grace, I will make you proud.

“Let’s save progressives. Let’s rally round each other and suppor each other. I will selflessly serve the party and state.

“Let’s protect progressives. Let’s go to the field for direct primaries to elect our standard bearers. With all our past governors’ structures, and that of me as APC governorship flag-bearer in 2019—or Sen. Teslim Folarin as 2023 gubernatorial candidate—working together, victory is ours.
