2027: Coming election is about the future of Nigerian youths- Tinubu tells City Boy Movement

President Bola Tinubu has hinted the leadership of the City Boy Movement that the coming election is about the future of Nigerian youths and not about any candidate, Punch Newspapers reported.

Tinubu spoke on Monday when he met with the movement’s national leadership at the State House, Abuja, according to a video clip of an NTA livestream posted on X.

“Nigeria must win this election before any candidate does.
“You are not campaigning for me. You are campaigning for the future of youth,” the pro-youth President said.

The President said the future he was referring to was one of renewed hope.
“Economy is growing steadily. You will have a future, a future to believe in,” he told the group.
Tinubu assured the delegation that the country would not be set back.
“There’s nothing, nothing that will push us back,” he said.
He added, “What I’ve seen here tonight is the fact that your hope, my hope, has been renewed.”
The City Boy Movement is a youth-driven political advocacy organisation focused on supporting Tinubu’s administration and re-election.
