The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ibadan North has inaugurated a Stakeholders Forum ahead of the 2027 general elections, promising to mobilise support for President Bola Tinubu, APC gubernatorial candidate Senator Sharafadeen Alli, and other APC standardbearers, africaworldnewsak.blogspot.com reported.

According to the communique issued after the stakeholders meeting which was held yesterday at Aviation Hall, SDM Tavern, the forum was led by Hon. Olasunmade Adebunmi as Chairman and Dr Olapeju eju Esan as Secretary. The organisers said their mandate is to engage community and political stakeholders to strengthen the party’s grassroots appeal and ensure maximum turnout at the polls..

The report said the APC leadership believes the forum will help unify voters around the party’s candidates and reinforce support across wards and local communities in Ibadan North.

1.0 PREAMBLE  

In a bid to strengthen internal structures and consolidate political gains ahead of future elections, the newly constituted Ibadan North APC Stakeholders Forum was formally inaugurated today, Tuesday, 23rd June 2026. The historic event, held at the Aviation Hall, Bodija, Ibadan, was presided over by the Chairman, *Hon. Lasun Adebunmi*. The inauguration drew attendance from party elders, founding members, ward representatives, and key stakeholders across the twelve wards of Ibadan North Local Government.

 2.0 OBJECTIVES OF THE INAUGURATION* 

The inauguration was convened to achieve the following strategic objectives:

1. To formally constitute and empower a forum to coordinate and drive party affairs in Ibadan North Local Government.

2. To harmonise all interest groups and tendencies within the APC in Ibadan North for effective political coordination.

3. To develop a clear roadmap for grassroots mobilisation and electoral victory in the 2027 General Elections.

4. To deepen loyalty and alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

 3.0 KEY DELIBERATIONS AND RESOLUTIONS

The inaugural meeting featured extensive deliberations on critical party matters, culminating in the adoption of the following resolutions:

 3.1 Party Progress Review

Members conducted a comprehensive assessment of the growth, cohesion, membership drive, and overall standing of the All Progressives Congress in Ibadan North Local Government and Oyo State. The forum acknowledged existing strengths while identifying areas requiring urgent attention, particularly ward-level organisation and youth engagement.

 3.2 Candidate Support Framework 

The stakeholders resolved to establish a robust support framework for all APC candidates contesting elections in Ibadan North and Oyo State, with particular emphasis on the gubernatorial aspiration of Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, PhD. The framework will encompass coordinated grassroots mobilisation, logistics support, voter education, and strategic engagement aimed at ensuring maximum electoral success.

 3.3 2027 Election Strategy 

A strategic committee was mandated to develop and implement data-driven voter engagement strategies, facilitate reconciliation among aggrieved members, and coordinate targeted outreach to critical voting demographics. The overarching objective is to secure a resounding victory for the APC in the 2027 General Elections at all levels.

 3.4 Reaffirmation of Loyalty 

The stakeholders unanimously reaffirmed their unwavering loyalty and commitment to the re-election of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. Members further pledged their full support for the implementation and promotion of the Renewed Hope Agenda across Ibadan North Local Government.

 4.0 MANDATE OF THE STAKEHOLDERS’ FORUM 

The newly inaugurated Stakeholders’ Forum is charged with the following responsibilities:

1. To oversee all activities of the All Progressives Congress in Ibadan North Local Government.

2. To serve as the highest advisory and consultative body of the Party at the local government level.

3. To promote unity, discipline, and internal democracy among party members across all wards.

4. To mobilise human and material resources towards electoral success in future elections.

5. To serve as a liaison between party structures and the State Working Committee of the Party.
