‎A Round Peg in a Round Hole: Ogunesan Hails Oroyinyin’s Emergence as Vice Chairman of Oyo State Muslim Community

‎Chief Mrs. Olawumi Ogunesan, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Oyo North Senatorial Candidate, has congratulated Alhaji Lawal Sulaiman Oroyinyin, a retired Commissioner of Police and former Chairman of the Muslim Community, Saki West, on his emergence as the Vice Chairman of the Muslim Community, Oyo State.

‎In a congratulatory message, Ogunesan described Oroyinyin’s emergence as “a round peg in a round hole,” noting that his wealth of experience, distinguished service and proven leadership qualities make him eminently qualified for the new responsibility.

‎Ogunesan commended Oroyinyin for his remarkable contributions during his tenure as Chairman of the Muslim Community, Saki West, where, according to her, he brought a new dimension to the administration of the Muslim community and recorded achievements that positively changed the narrative.

‎Ogunesan further noted that Oroyinyin’s distinguished career in the Nigeria Police Force, where he rose to the rank of Commissioner of Police before later becoming Chairman of the Muslim Community, Saki West, demonstrated his long-standing commitment to leadership, discipline, responsibility and service to humanity.
