I feel and experience the pain, anxiety, and uncertainty being experienced by the victims’ families as an affected person and son of the soil.
Jesutoye noted that his thoughts and prayers remain firmly with the abductees and everyone directly affected by the tragedy.

According to Jesutoye, while the entire community continues to hope and pray for positive news, it is important for the families to know that the victims have not been forgotten and remain in the hearts of countless Nigerians who desire their safe return.

Jesutoye expressed confidence in the ongoing efforts of security agencies and the collaboration between the Oyo State and Federal Governments, stating his belief that every necessary step is being taken to secure the release of the abductees and restore hope to their families while also charging governments at all strata to intensify efforts as the unfortunate incident enters three weeks.
