All Hail Pedagogues: Hon Wasiu Hamzat “Lamour” Hails Teachers Across Ibadan Southeast-I
On Teachers’ Day, Honourable Wasiu Olanrewaju Hamzat popularly known as L’amour, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Ibadan Southeast Constituency-I ahead of the 2027 general elections and an illustrious son of Ibadanland has appreciated teachers for their relentless efforts in shaping minds and strengthening society through education.
In a statement, Hamzat said Teachers’ Day is an opportunity to celebrate the “remarkable men and women” who nurture talents, build character, and provide the foundation upon which every great community stands.
Hamzat described teachers as heroes whose impact extends beyond the classroom, noting that their patience, knowledge, sacrifice, and commitment inspire generations to dream, learn, and strive to become better versions of themselves.
Hon. Hamzat also noted the role of teachers in community development, stating that their contributions remain invaluable to the progress of the nation and especially to Ibadan Southeast Constituency-I and beyond.
Hamzat encouraged educators to continue their noble profession with hope and determination, wishing them strength, fulfilment, greater recognition and abundant opportunities.
