“ANNOUNCEMENT”: Ex-Oyo SSG, Alhaji Waheed Akin Olajide 3-Day Fidau to Hold Today in Ibadan

Today, the late former Secretary to the Government of Oyo State, Alhaji Waheed Akin Olajide’s 3-Day Fidau will hold at the Muslim Association of Nigeria(MAN) Centre, Joyce B, Oke-Bola Area in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State by 9am
This newspaper has earlier reported that the family, friends and political associates mourned the death of Alhaji Akin Olajide, a former Oyo SSG under the administration of former Governor Abiola Ajimobi.
Olajide, former Chief Executive of the University Press PLC, died on Tuesday, August 25, following a brief illness.
Olajide’s Janazah prayer was conducted at 11:00 a.m MAN Centre, Joyce B, Oke-Bola, Ibadan, on Wednesday, the same place where his 3-Day Fidau is holding today.
His remains were laid to rest at the MAN Macbara Centre, Osengere, along Asejire, Ibadan.
